  Erica Johannes, DDS is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry. In 2013, after 7 years of practicing general dentistry, she discovered dental sleep medicine. She fell in love with sleep apnea and in 2018 limited her practice to the treatment of sleep-disordered breathing and temporomandibular joint disorders. Dr. Johannes is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and owns a private practice, Dental Sleep Doc, in Columbia, South Carolina. She is also the author of Sleep is Sacred.
